Multimedia Schools was an outstanding conference! Peter Milbury spoke
about the Internet and Gary Larson (Gary Larson? yes!) with humor and
wisdom. Kathy Rutkowski, editor of NetTEACH News (I'm going to
subscribe---it's terrific), gave an overview of her Internet jewels,
along with the most lucid commentary about Mosaic I've ever heard. The
"virtual" Dave of Ask ERIC described both the current offerings and the
visionary plans of this invaluable service. (Note: He was wearing a tie
that required more self-assurance than most of us will have in a
lifetime---Ask ERIC to find out what it had on it!) BTW in addition to
lesson plans and bibliographies on topics like AIDS, ERIC often includes
Internet resources...

Next year this conference will be held in Chicago at the Palmer House
Hilton from October 31-November 1st. Mark your calendar---this thing's
going to be all "treats."
