I have been using At Ease for Workgroups on all of our Macs at school since last year. It hasn't been bypassed by anyone yet, but you do have to make sure that your security is set. Each teacher has their own password to get to their stuff. It makes it easy for them to organize their folders (they weren't before..everything was in 1 big mess!) and keeps them and others from playing with control panels, chooser, etc. This is particularly important when we have several teachers still sharing a machine. In addition, we can set up a folder for the kids. We have 1 group of K teachers who have a number of CD-ROMs for their kids and I have set up the CDs on the folder so they can just click on the icon and go into the CD. (They do need an adult around to get the right cd in the drive). It works out great!!! Barb Baker John Campbell Elem Selah, WA BarbBkr@aol.com
