Spanish pen pals for currrent events

Hi you all!!
There is a Spanish Teacher in our High School that would like to connect
with pen pals in Spanish speaking countries primarily to exchange current
events.  We can provide several internet accounts if we can find someone to
communicate with.
Any Ideas?   Anyone out there that would like to participate?
