LC on DRA.COM is nice, but it is not the complete LC database.  It is
also not updated as often as LC.  There is more to LOCIS than books.
There is also access to Federal legislation, Copyright information,
Braille and Audio, Organizations, and Foreign law.  Within the
Catalog, there is access to the LC subject headings.

Remember, Locis was really designed for the LC catalogers.  Public
access came later.  "Edit" probably meant exactly that, the command
to edit a MARC record.

If you look at the MARC format on LOCIS, note that LC uses a strange
format.   It groups the subfield letters after the indicators, then
runs the subfields together, separated by "#" marks.
