REF, HIT: stories set in '50's

Several people suggested possible stories set in the 1950's,
but the one's specifically set then are:
Blue Skin of the Sea by Graham Salisbury and Two Moons in
August by Martha Brooks.

Also suggested were Homer Price books and Salinger short storeis, but I have'nt
re-read them yet.
