JOB SEARCH: Ask Virginia LM_NETTERS

 South Central VIRGINIA  LM_NETters,

 My family is considering a return to Virginia after 16 years in  Florida.
I would appreciate any information you can give me  concerning:

 1. Salary scales and job possibilities for public schools,  especially in
the Lynchburg-Roanoke area.

 2. What was the resolution of the legislative action concerning  school
librarians which was being talked about on LM_NET a few  months ago?

 3. What kind of internet access do Virginia educators have?  In  Fla. we
have free access to a statewide DOE supported computer  network with
expanding internet access.  From your email addresses I gather that you
have access to something similar.

 Thank you for any information you can give me.  I do hope that I can  find
a suitable position and can afford to come home.
