Need some assistance??? We are wondering if any schools have policy statements about interlibrary loan materials coming into their buildings. How are they treated? How do you handle the requests? Are there any guidelines limiting what your patrons may request - such as elementary students requesting materials from a junior or senior high school library or high school students requesting materials from a college library? Do you screen things to be sure they match your selection policy? ... Also has anyone had any problem with complaints about materials supplied to students from personal libraries of staff members (teaching and para-professional)? If so how do you handle use and loan of such materials?
