Dear Netters, One of our Grade 10 English classes is writing children's stories aimed at primary level youngsters. To bring home the importance of writing for an audience, we've hatched the following plan. How about finding a kindergarten class somewhere out there in cyberspace that would not only read the stories, but also illustrate them for us? Obviously we think it's a great idea, so here is where we need you elementary teacher-librarians/library media specialists to help us find a class. If you think you and your kindergarten would like to be involved please drop me a line by Wednesday, April 12. We will e-mail to you 15-18 stories the following week with the expectation that you would send back illustrated versions when completed. Looking forward to hearing from you, Brian Russell brirusse@cln.etc.bc.ca Teacher-librarian, Claremont Secondary School, 4980 Wesley Rd. Victoria, B.C. Canada V8Y 1Y9 ph.604-658-5221 fax. 604-658-5387
