NEWLIST: BR_Cafe - a place for kids to discuss what they're reading

   BR_Cafe welcomes messages of two kinds:  those requesting an individual
   with whom to discuss a book -OR- discussion of the book itself for the
   general forum discussion.

   In order to participate in discussions, or simply to post a request for a
   bookreading e-pal, you must subscribe to the BR_Cafe list.  When you
   provide your subscription request, it is sent to the list moderator who
   checks your e-mail address against those who have submitted reviews to
   the BR_Review list.  If found, you will be manually added to the list of
   BR_Cafe subscribers.  If not found, you will be asked to provide a book
   review for the BR_Review list.  In other words, you provide a book review
   as your "ticket" into the book conversations in BR_Cafe.


   To receive more information about BR_Cafe and how to use it,
   send the command

   To subscribe to BR_Cafe, send the following command to
   listproc@micronet.wcu.edu in the BODY of e-mail:

                                         Student Book Reviews List

   BR_Review is a moderated list for K-12 student-written book reviews.  Your
   reviews will be read before being posted.  You do not need to subscribe
   before posting your review, but if you wish to receive all subsequent
   reviews, you must subscribe to BR_Review.  Anyone may subscribe to
   BR_Review without posting a review (for instance, a student looking for a
   good book or a researcher looking for opinion data).

   Searching the entire online database of _student-provided reviews_ is
   encouraged by all (you need not subscribe to BR_Review to search).  See
   what your peers like, don't like, and the reasons why!


   To receive more information about BR_Review, how to use it, search it, and
   subscribe to it, send the command
