US books for the UK

I'm new to this group. Hi:-)
I'm Head of Resources at Hinchingbrooke School, Huntingdon, England and my
problem is that I'm awware of quite a few books - fiction and non-fiction
which are available in the USA butnot over here.
Recently I downloAded a wonderful list of children's fiction from The Net
but couldn't get hold of several books which I really wanted to buy.
Does anyone know of a store which will send on orders to us at a reasonable
price? I'll deal with the problems of US currency at another time!
