TECH: CD problems

We have 2 new CDs we can't get to run on our 575s our or 630.
I bought Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego at a computer
show, and it ran on our PC, but not on the Mac.  I was under
the impression when I bought it that it worked on both
platforms, and the booklet says it comes in two formats, and
gives directions for both (which is probably why I thought this
CD worked in both.)  Do you think it's a PC only CD?  It
doesn't say anything on the CD or the case to indicate which it
is.  It's a version that came in a special bundle and says "Not
for resale".  The other CD is the CIA World Factbook, which ran
on a 575, but won't even show an icon on the 630.  Any ideas?
