Good morning group! Having followed the discussion last spring about writing on ROMs, I don't recall anyone asking this exact question, ergo... Gaylord is selling security strips to go on CD-ROMs. It is a clear plastic shield that covers the label entirely with a security strip between the shield and the ROM itself. I recall the discussion about ROMs spinning so rapidly that one has to be careful to not do anything to hurt the balance. I am assuming since the shield covers the entire ROM and the security strip is so light, that this system works fine. Anyone say differently? Also, we are interested in securing our videodiscs as well. Same issue? Thanks for your help. *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* Floyd Pentlin, Library Media Specialist VOICE: 816-251-8516 Lee's Summit North High School / 901 NE Douglas FAX: 816-251-8596 Lee's Summit, MO 64086 E-MAIL: fpentlin@garfield.leesummit.k12.mo.us .............................................................................
