I am involved with presenting a seminar to high school students:

****************************************************************
"Accessing College & Financial Aid Information via the Internet"
****************************************************************

There are plenty of web sites with information available:

  Internet College Exchange

  FEDIS/MOLIS
  http://web.fie.com/

  Financial Aid Information Page
  http://www.cs.cmu.edu/afs/cs/user/mkant/Public/FinAid/finaid.html

  Yahoo

The bigger challenge is identifying public places where students
can have internet access. Does anyone know of such places, i.e.

    - public libraries
    - community college libraries
    - technology centers with free access on certain days

Students involved in this seminar come from the following areas:

AR CENTRAL ARKANSAS MN TWIN CITIES

    AZ PHOENIX MO KANSAS CITY
                                MO ST. LOUIS
    CA SF BAY AREA
CA SAN FERNANDO VALLEY NC CHARLOTTE
    CA LOS ANGELES NC TRIANGLE

                                OH TOLEDO
    GA ATLANTA
    GA MACON/MIDDLE GEORGIA PA PHILADELPHIA

    IL CHICAGO SC GREENVILLE

    IN FORT WAYNE TN CHATTANOOGA
    IN NORTHWEST INDIANA TN MEMPHIS

    KY LOUISVILLE TX DALLAS
    MA MASS/METROWEST TX HOUSTON

    MD BALTIMORE VA RICHMOND

    MI DETROIT

    MI LANSING

I would like to prepare a handout that students can take home
with them on places to go. A separate account "bdpa@netcom.com"
is set up, so students will be able to do a search while they are
attending the conference.

Any assistance is appreciated!
