I am the only professional media specialist/librarian in our school
corporation.  Our three elementary schools and one junior high school
have library aides and they make around $6.00 and their job title is
Library Aide.  I like associates as opposed to coordinators because the
implication is that of a two-year school that grants an associates
degree, even though they might not have that much beyond h.s. .  For example, our 
technology coordinator has six
years of college.  Titles are important, too often they are `given` away.
