Okay . . so I spent 3 hours yesterday reading a variety of messages from
everywhere! !  And then I spent an hour sending "welcome" or "greeting"
notes to teachers who are being introduced to the Net!

I'm going to copy :) :) :) and ask that folks send greetings to my teachers
here in Florida.  We have a modem in our media center and some of the
teachers are surfing at home. . . but I have a handful (more like 35) of
teachers who are hesitant!  Could you please take the time to send us a
note about how you use the Internet, whether in the classroom or for
professional growth . . what grade you teach. . . how you access it
(through school/home)?  I do have a couple of teachers who might be
interested in penpals, and especially one who is devoted to our school
butterfly garden and loves to share.

Let us hear from you (by Thurs., Aug 10) . . . I'd like to post the
messages for pre-planning which is next week (oh-no) ;)  . . . we are a K-6
school of 1300 kids.
