ELEM: MOCK CALDECOTT KEYPALS WANTED

Wanted: A class interested in participating in a Mock Caldecott using the
Internet as a resource.  Objectives: to learn about the criteria and
process for selecting the Caldecott medal winner and about using the
Internet for information retrieval and communication.  I am planning a
unit using the ALA Mock Caldecott kit for a fourth grade class from
October 1995 through February 1996.  If you are interested in a similar
project, have access to 1995 titles, and would like to share nominations,
discussions, and results with Internet keypals, please respond to me
directly.
