Last year one of our social studies teachers read Abigail Adams letters to John Adams with her students. This year she is looking for other ideas of primary sources to bring that time period alive. Historical documents are rather dry whereas letters and the like give a sense of the period. We would welcome suggestions for further readings. Thanks, N_bergeron@mentor.unh.edu
