MID: Christmas stories

Is it just me or is anyone else having trouble coming up with Christmas
stories you feel like telling (reading) this year.

I like to spend 10-15 minutes on the story portion of our library classes
for fifth and sixth grades and just done't seem to be able to get
inspired to use any of the old standards, i.e. The Littlest Angel, The
Fir Tree.

I would REALLY LOVE to hear some fresh new suggestions.  If enough
responses, of course I'll post a hit.
