I am at home for a week on sick leave, so do not have my resources handy
except all of you!
I have a burning curiosity of the terminology "sports garden"...Madison
Square Garden, Rose Garden (Portland, OR)...I am sure there are many more
sports centers with the name garden after...any one able to tell me the
origin of a sports areana, or stadium called gardens??? Thanks so much in
advance.
