TARGET: Frontier life resources

Hi to all!
I am helping a 7th grade teacher put together a unit on frontier life.
She wants a bibliography of related materials (print and non-print) as
well as folklore.  Any one have any suggestions that we can add to our
resource list?  Thanks in advance for your help on this one.
