Ref: Remainder Houses

An art teacher in our building in inquiring about "Remainder Houses" in
the publishing industry - what they are aand how to locate some.  She
thinks they a buy up large quantities of books from the publishers and
sell them at greatly reduced prices.  She would like names and addresses
of some of these companies, particulrly in the metropolitan Washington,
D.C. area. TIA.
