OK, Sally reminded me off our Halloween malapropism.
Kori was eight when he went to the neighbor's house and they
made him perform a trick before he got a treat. Imagine his
confussion as this was the first time in years anyone took
him up on the trick part. The next year he was ready. He
dressed as a magician, went to the neighbor's house and said
he would make their candy disappear when they asked for a
trick. Kori and his dad had hooked up a vacuum inside his clothes
and as he passed his hands over the bowl, zip, the candy was gone.
The neighbor's wife was in on it because she was tired of her
husband tormenting the little ones. He still talks about Kori
making his candy "disappear" and wonders how Kori did it. We've
never told him and I think his wife smirks at the thought of
Kori "besting" her husband. It doesn't happen often.
