Some of us are not able to get our messages on Usenet or another such type of server where we can read threaded messages and must get them in our regular mailbox or read them through the archives. If everyone replied to the list the full mailbox problem that many LM_NET subscribers encounter now would be even worse. I read my messages through the archives and even with a 28.8 modem it takes a while to download them, especially at the end of the month, when the number of messages have built up. Therefore, I feel that we should stuck to the target/hit concept and make our replies to the person originally asking the question. If we want additional information about a topic, we can always ask the person who originally brought up the topic. I have done this on several occasions and have not had any problems. Also, please remember those who pay for time or are charged for individual messages. Although they would not necessarily read responses they are not interested in, they still must download them and must take the time to delete them. Let's keep the target/hit concept. Madeline L.
