 Here is my way:

With the DOS version of netscape, I copy my "library" bookmarks over
each evening (or 1st thing in the morning) thus replacing any "patron"
bookmarks. (This process could be made automatic by putting a statement
in the autoexec.bat file, then every time the computer is rebooted the
bookmark file would be replaced.)

 If a patron has a disk, they can copy their bookmarks to their own
disk before leaving the computer.  I have a sign telling them how and
that their bookmarks WILL be wipe at the end of the day (or sooner if
need be).
