I missed the original post on this.  Several years ago every library in
our district received unsolicited books from a company (NOT Thomson
Learning).  After contacting the US Postal Service (not UPS), we were
told that we were under no obligation to either return or pay for the
books.  We kept them.  Apparently, this happened in a number of school
districts throughout Texas and the case finally ended up in the Attorney
General's office --- he concurred.  The districts were under no
obligation to either pay for or return the books.  Bottom line:  If this
happens to you, contact postal authorities or your state AG's office.
