A teacher went to the Children's Museum in Chicago recently and there was a big exhibit with a giant blow up of a quote at the entrance. IT said: In the end we will conserve only what we love, We will love only what we understand, We will understand only what we are taught. It was attributed to Baba Dioum. The teacher was told that person was an African poet. He wanted more info on Baba Dioum. I looked EVERYWHERE!!! (CA, Current B., Infotrac, books on Africa, Black America, all our biographical info, Bartletts...) Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.
