Hi LM_Netters: Since many of us in schools use our local PBS stations for online access through Learning Link and benefit by the instructional programs aired, it would be a good idea for us to rally to PBS's support in light of the new attitude of the congress. Many teachers in my school are beginning to get concerned about the call for cutting funding. Perhaps it would be a good idea for teachers and students let their voice be heard by writing to congress members, senators etc. If anyone has ideas on doing this using electronic mail, or has any thoughts on the topic, we'd like to hear from you. Also consider the recent call for cut back in funding or elimination of National Endowment for the Humanities. Let's hear from you.
