Dear LM_NETTERS: Our P.E. teacher is in need of cooperative learning games for her P.E. class. She finds that the children have trouble playing together and wondered if by starting these games early in the elementary school she could change the way they approach these tasks. For example, in the "Caught red-handed" game, children sit in a circle and an object is passed from person to person. Sometimes, fake passes are made. The purpose of the game is for the kids to work together, without being caught, so that another student sitting in the middle of the circle can't guess who has the object. If your school has done anything like this before, or if you know of other cooperative learning games that can be played at this level (and appropriate for P.E. curriculum), please contact: jacksoa1@mail.firn.edu or antonyc@mail.firn.edu Thanks a bunch, Coral
