In the fall of 1994, Versey Griffin a third grade student at Franklin School here in Little Rock fell into a rain swollen ditch. Her sister, Siscecila Griffin, jumped in and tried to rescue her from the waters. Although Versey drowned, Siscelia was swept further down the stream and pulled just in time by two young men who were students at the nearby University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Siscelia is only in the fifth grade, but as a student with an excellent spirit, the university has awarded her a full scholarship, renewable for four years with a B average. We are very proud of Siscelia and request your greetings of congratulations. Please send your greetings; Siscelia loves to get email.
