Re: book fairs

We are a Senior High School, and I have had two successful book fairs,
which I coordinated with a local bookstore.  I pre-ordered many, and they
helped fill in the rest.  They brought the books over, let us use their
Mastercard and Visa, and I staffed the Fair with volunteer parents.  It
was very successful.  We held it during our first Conferences in the
Fall, so many were purchased for Christmas gifts.  The bookstore is a
small, locally-owned operation, and they were wonderful!  They gave us 20
percent of all sales and we did quite well.
