Hi, Marla and all--

We have the Gale Research set _Major Authors and Illustrators for
Children and Young Adults_ and it is used a great deal.  It is in 6
volumes with a complete listing of those included in the front of
each volume.  It is pretty recent (1993?--I'm at home, can't check)
and very thorough.  Also easy to use.
