I have been printing barcodes and spine labels on Winnebago CircCat for a
year now using a Hewlett-Packard 4ML and it has NEVER given me any problem.
It costs around $1000, which is lower in price than the comparible Apple
model.  If you are restricted to buying fron Apple, any Laser printer that
is capable of printing labels will do the job, which is probably why
Winnebago is not specific.  However, if you are on an Ethernet network, you
must buy a printer with Ethernet capability or one that will take an
Ethernet card.

Good luck!  The barcodes are so easy to print and they look great!  The
spine labels are very clear and bold and make the shelves easy to keep in
order.
