Well put. I am a "paraprofessional" librarian ( a librarian without
certification or degree ) I feel that my on-the-job training as well as
continuing education efforts have provided me with all the needed skills
to serve in the librarian capacity. Yes, those with certification MAY
have a more complete picture, but be careful who you knock. Many of us
without all the fancy diplomas do the job just fine, thank you!
