Year Round Schools

I am soliciting any responses concerning academic achievement and
year round school or a modified year round school calendar.  Our
district is anticipating a possible change to such a schedule.  My
staff is very anxious to have anecdotal evidence which might help
us understand how such a setup would affect our student success and
our own professional lives.  Any comments or suggestions or
experiences from those of you who have worked or have children in
such a schedule would be much appreciated.
