?Siberian Hamsters

Our district has a Science Resource Center which provides live animals
that are "demonstrated" to students in the schools by trained volunteers.
They need some information about Siberian Hamsters and have had no luck
so far. Info needed:
        *scientific name
        *geographic region of habitat
        *facts on breeding
