Subject: Re: World History Listserv--and other social studies

        I recommend a listserv called H-HIGH-S. I originally subscribed
about a month or two ago, just to preview it before I recommended it to our
social studies teachers. Each time I go online with the intention of
unsubscribing, I find a gem of information, and I think, I'll just keep on
for a few more days, in case I miss something.
The list is for high school teachers of history and social studies.
Recent discussions have been about the use of simulations in class, the new
national history standards, content of AP and survey courses, etc. To
subscribe, send e-mail to LISTSERV@MSU.edu The message should read:
subscribe H-High-S Firstname Surname, Affiliation
With your welcome message and instructions, you will receive a list
of other listservs sponsored by H-Net; most sound a little more scholarly
than this one.
