MAC editors

We are looking for an editor to put on our MAC network that will allow us to
give the students the ability to edit their work and then load it onto the
teacher's INTERNET account.  We have limited FTP, our host severely restricts
our access.  Our host is a UNIX system.  We are able to get UNIX editor's for
the IBM but have not been successful in finding information on MAC.
