Mister Spock says those words in _The Wrath of Kahn_, in my opinion,
the best of the Star Trek movies. Both Melville's _Moby Dick_ and Charles
Dickens' _A Tale of Two Cities_ are quoted in the movie. I did a word
search on both texts just now and could not find the quote you mention,
but I remember it from the movie. It will be interesting to see if
anyone comes up with the answer!
