Pocahontas facts?

I admit that the message forwarded to LM_Net raises doubts about the recent
Disney movie, but I'd like to hear from someone who has _seen_ the movie
and _heard_the lyrics before possibly spreading misinformation.  As
information specialists, perhaps a little research of our own is needed
here?  How about it--any facts from LMNetters who have seen the movie or
researched the legend independently?  I haven't seen the movie, but will
probably do so to form my own opinions.
