LM_NET: Library Media Networking
The IASL (International Association of School Librarianship) will hold the
24th Annual IASL Conference in July 1995 in Worcester, England. Worcester
College of Higher Education will host the conference from July 17-21. The
theme is "Sustaining the Vision". The four sub-themes are school
librarianship, children's literature, literacy and technology.
Seminars, workshops, and visits will also be built into the proceedings,
plus exhibitions, Waterstones bookshop and an opening event sponsored by
World Books.
The cost of the conference is approximately US$ 675.00. That includes
registration, accommodation and meals for 5 days/4 nights. Money must be
paid in pounds sterling!
