I just finished  _84 Charing Cross Road_ by Helene Hanff.  A wonderful gem
of a story about a writer in New York who orders books from Marks and
Company 5t%7quarian Booksellers.  Short, sweet, humorous and you'll love
the characters - letters written between 1949-1969.
