I am beginning my second year in our k-5 school library/media center. We have a complete laser disc science program that has been collecting dust because none of the staff seem willing to use it. How can I make this and other nonbook materials be utilized by the classroom teachers more? I am also interested in scheduling. Our unified arts team wants to meet the same group of students in two week cycles. We have four homerooms 1-5 so we'd meet with each class every six weeks. We feel we would be more effective. I know I would have to schedule additional book return and checkout times and this could be built into our schedule. Has anyone else tried to meet in a more concentrated period of time? How did it work? This is my first attempt sending a message. Please bear with me. TOCONNOR@UDEL.EDU
