I had a teacher ask me about a curriculum called video lit, perhaps video literature. According to him there is some movement towards training teachers to teach literature through videos without reading the book first. Has anyone heard anything about this trend. I don't think it's meant to replace reading but justifies the use of videos as a means to teach literature. I asked if he knew who was behind the movement (could be vested interest groups), but he didn't have any more information. Please respond to me personally.
