ELEM: reading series

Once again I am asking for help from you wonderful people out there. Does
anyone know anything about a Girard (Girrard?) reading series that mostly
uses Dolch words? And someone mentioned in our OTE training meeting today
that there was a Follett series that did the same? Any input you can give
would be really helpful - it looks like our OTE goal will be to increase
the number of students in the top two quartiles of our standardized test in
total reading scores. Thanks in advance - and honest, I *am* working on the
Scarecrow HIT! I didn't get very many responses, but a couple included a
lot of stuff. I'll post the HIT this weekend.  Faith
