I agree that we sometimes go overboard with our "electronic" resources. I
have an electronic dictionary and an electronic database of quotations.
They're both really neat and fun to use, but for ready reference--by the time
I get them mounted on a computer, opened and type in the search question, I
could have answered that question by using my print versions of both and
moved on to something else. I have learned the hard way to try paper first,
then move on to the electronic if necessary. And it rarely is with ready
reference.
