Thought you might like to know about a great new (since May) list -- CCCBC-Net.

From the Friends of the CCBC Newsletter:

to encourage awareness and discussion of issues essential to literature for
children adn young adults.

provide opportunities for spontaneous as well as guided discussions of
contemporary literature for children and young adults (including multicultural
literature, translated books, outstanding and award-winning books....)

The moderator is Ginny Moore Kruse, a children's literature specialist and
director of the Cooperative Children's Book Center, a noncirculating children's
and young adult literatur library for adults at the School of Education,
Univeristy of Wisconsin-Madison.

From me: The CCBC always provides high quality, thought provoking discussion of
