ADMINISTRATIVE VACANCY - Columbus Public Schools (OH) Supervisor of Instructional Technology Division of Curriculum and Instruction SELECTION CRITERIA -Valid Ohio Administrative or Supervisory certification -Minimum of a Master's Degree -Training and/or relevant experience within the area of computer technology -Demonstrated ability to prepare written research and evaluation reports -GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES -Plan, develop and provide inservice to professional staff in learning to use the computer as an instructional tool to enhance curriculum implementation -Plan and develop new and innovative instructional programs, i.e., ACOT (Apple Classrooms of Tomorrow), Summer Tech, SchoolNet Schools and NSF Schools of Excellence -Work with district staff in learning to use computers more effectively in the classrooms -Assist schools in the development of building level technology plans -Develop methods that quickly respond to requests, problems and concerns related to technology used by personnel within the system -Plan and develop courses of study for computer sciences and computer applications courses as well as computer-assisted instructional programs guided by the course of study as adapted by the Columbus Public Schools TO REQUEST APPLICATION, CONTACT: Dr. Michael A.
