GEN: CD-ROM Cataloguing and Collection

Dear Fellow Netters,
        I am taking a cataloguing class and am doing a paper on the
cataloguing of CD-ROM's.  Please tell me how you catalog them.  For
example, are they kept in a back room only for teachers to access.  Do
you have them available to students?  Also from a collection perspective,
what are some titles that you have?  Which are the most popular and helpful?
Any relevant info. will be helpful.
