Middle school interdisciplinary units

        The core teams (math, science, social studies,
English and P.E.) in my building are required to teach one
interdisciplinary unit per semester.  I was asked in one team meeting
today for help in coming up with a topic for the first semester.  All I
am requesting is an idea, i.e. bats, not an entire unit.  If you have an
idea that has worked for you please send me your topic or idea.  Your
help will be greatly appreciated.
