Stine Horror series Review Sources

Our middle school has received a donation of R.L. Stine's Fear Street books.
The kids love these and I've steeled myself to provide them (better a bad
book than no book), but I'm unable to find review sources for most of them.
I know that numerous titles in this series have been rated as suitable for
the middle school level and Follett informs me that each item in such a
series is often not reviewed individually.

Is is acceptable practice to take a few reviews as typical of an entire
series and use them on that basis?
